Terry Hammons founded Galactico Capital to help his family and others achieve financial independence and passive income. With a decade of experience directly owning, renovating, and managing a portfolio of real estate assets, Terry has specialized expertise in property management, contractor management, budget constraints, renovation timelines, and efficiency of daily operations. He has directly owned more than 20 units between SFR and MFR properties.
Prior job responsibilities throughout his career have set him up for success as real estate investor, including being General Counsel for two publicly-traded companies. Terry has nearly 25 years of experience as a complex commercial and corporate finance legal counselor with companies in Specialty Chemicals. Industrial Gases, Construction Materials and Healthcare industries.
Terry currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, and in his spare time enjoys spending time with family and exercising.

Before venturing into the private sector, Barrett served as an U.S. intelligence officer in the U.S. Army and the Defense Intelligence Agency. The experiences of service and sacrifice instilled in him a relentless drive to create positive change and molded a resilient professional capable of analyzing complex data, assessing risks, and making informed decisions in volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous situations.
Barrett holds an MBA from Strayer University, where he honed his strategic thinking and business acumen. He purchased his first multifamily rental property in Pittsburgh in 2021, and in 2022, helped his brother establish Amistad Heritage Properties LLC.
In 2022, Barrett founded LUMA Realty Investment Group LLC, a real estate investment services company specializing in property management, project management, and asset management.
Barrett is not only a seasoned professional but also a devoted husband and father. His commitment to family values extends to his business philosophy.
